The Young Eagles Mission
The Mission of the EAA Aviation Foundation's Young Eagles Program is to provide a motivational aviation experience, focusing on a demonstration flight in an airplane. These flights are provided free of charge to any youth wishing to participate.
The Young Eagles Goal
The Young Eagles Program has set a goal of providing 1 million young people ages 8 through 17 with a free introductory airplane ride. These rides are provided through the generosity of volunteer EAA pilots and members of other authorized aviation organizations.

In order to participate, a parent or guardian must accompany the Young Eagle and complete and sign the registration form prior to each flight. Electronic forms are no longer available for download nor are printed/copied forms accepted - original forms only.
Today was a busy day with EAA14 pilots providing first flights to a dozen fledgling aviators. Jesse had everything organized perfectly as usual. Dennis provided check in services to all the Young Eagles and their families.
Today's pilots included Frank Himmerich, Gil Rud, Armond Brattland, Jerry Boughner, and Pete Grootendorst. As always, these men are the heros of the program and without their dedication and willingness, the Young Eagles program would not exist.
Overall it was another highly successful day of Young Eagle Flying!
