Sparky Sparks started flying in 1959 with the majority of his time in experimental aircraft.

Sparky has built three expermental aircraft and has been involved ib a number of rebuilds.

The first Pietenpol was built in 1972 and he flew it for twenty one years. And if I remember

correctly ,it was then given to his son which is still flying it.

Sparky built the second Piet in1994. It is still in his possession and is flown regularly.

Sparky has also built a very pretty long wing VW powered KR-2 which qualifies as light sport
